Jaesun Yun
is a 3D Artist and Writer based in Chicago.
Born and raised in Chicago, Illinois for his entire life, he has always been surrounded by art be it at home or walking around the city. In middle school, he founded his own video production group called Epic Face Productions, which by the time he graduated, was trusted enough to create his graduating class’ Memory DVD.
In high school, Jaesun took to more physical mediums, culminating into submitting and being admitted to the 2017 All-City Senior Portfolio Exhibition hosted in conjunction between The School of the Art Institute (SAIC) and Chicago Public Schools (CPS). Their piece in the exhibition, Sunset Splatter, awarded them a small scholarship for SAIC.
Now in college and attending SAIC, Jaesun has since taken part in the SAIC ArtBash 2018 exhibition with their work Giant Rusty Sword while studying Narrative Writing and 3D Animation. Additionally, they currently work within the Instruction Resources and Facility Management Department of SAIC as a Resource tech.
